Recently, I heard someone share a label describing “who” they were.  The person said, “I have ADHD.” It was stated like a job title, of which they were proud, like Clinical Director, or Receptionist.  Why do we allow our limitations to define us?  The people I admire most in life are over-comers.  Despite significant obstacles or “labels” which might be used by an individual, challenges were confronted, solutions were found.  The person became better as a result.  Labels can be used as an excuse or a spring board to lift us higher and further into expanding who we are.

How are you using your labels?  How could your labels be used as a spring board, or to catapult you to where you really want to be?
