There are plenty of studies and research out there that claim exercise increases energy levels. In an article by Psychological Bulletin, researchers reviewed data from 70 studies on exercise and fatigue. In total, the habits of 6,800 test subjects were analyzed.

“More than 90% of the studies showed the same thing: Sedentary people who completed a regular exercise program reported improved fatigue compared to groups that did not exercise,” said Patrick O’Connor, Ph.D., co-director of the University of Georgia Exercise Psychology Laboratory.
